Novatek signs framework terms to sell 10% stake in unit to Total

MOSCOW, Apr 28 (PRIME) -- Russian gas producer Novatek has signed the framework conditions to sell 10% in its affiliate Arkticheskaya Perevalka, an operator of two transshipment facilities on the Kamchatka Peninsula and the Murmansk Region, to Total, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. 

The terminals carry liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Arctic LNG 2 and other Novatek’s projects by transshipping them from the Arc 7 ice class tankers to the conventional ships. Each terminal has a 360,000 cubic meter floating storage.
